Texture - Aphanitic

Very dark gray to black

Usually aphanitic but can be porphyrtic.

 Olivine phenocrysts may be present,
but often color is the only means of identification

  Some samples may be vesicular in which case we call it "vesicular basalt" 

Your Rock is Basalt (or Vesicular Basalt)!
